Trying to edit menus

Recently when I go to the menu page and click on a category (to edit) it takes me to a blank black page . Never had this problem before...help🙏

I would try clearing your web browser cookies and cache, if you are not familiar with doing that, let me know what web browser you are using I can give instructions.

it says SUNMI is the manufacturer and Android version 9...does that help?

Oh, you are doing it from the POS? Could you maybe share a picture of where you are and where you are seeing the black screen?

Toast probably is already aware of the issue. It might have something to do with the new Toast Web experience thing that settings are not displayed properly on POS.

Yes sir, it's not displaying properly when viewing the menu setting page from the POS. My guess on what is happening here is Toast recently rolled out a Toast Web New Experience, which is basically a re-designed UI of the Toast Web.

It now shows an UI similar to the "Menu Builder" tool when clicking into menus

,instead of the old UI.

I guess that new UI is not compatible with Android browser.

You can try clearing the toast app cache, since this is the built in "browser" for backend access. If you go to the home screen, should be a link to clear cache. Could be a known issue like @au79teahouse mentioned, I am not seeing the same issue personally, but I could be on different versions of app and website than you.

Good to know, I do not usually use the POS for any menu editing. Still the old version for me though at the moment.
