Black screen. Not turning on

My only register is not turning on. I tried unplugging it and plugging it back in . Even checked the breaker panel to see if it was a breaker that was knocked off. Nothing… i need help! Anybody has had a issue with their register not turning on

have you checked the connection that goes from there to the back of the printer, (if you have one) and the one that goes from the printer to the terminal, possible they came loose if the screws were not secured.

I did! They are plugged in

i called toast costumer support they have my employee on the video call. They are sending someone over cause they wanted to send me in a new pos in 2-3 days. I need mine fixed asap

ok, you can try taking the cable from the back of the printer and going directly into the terminal bypassing the other cable and see if it starts like that. Not to ask a dumb question but there are two buttons on the back, they are pressing and holding for several seconds the right one? (concave one)

They are pressing the power button on. I know there is also a house button. For home screen i believe
