Force Dining Option - It worked to start doesn't now.

I am a new user of Toast. When we first set it up I selected the force select of dining option when you hit pay. It was defaulted to dine in so was showing taxes until we changed it. So I changed it to take out default since most of our customers are take out. Then I selected forced select. Now it won't force you to choose when you hit pay. Any idea what is happening?

Hey @halterca! Is it not forcing you to select the correct Dining option? Or is it not forcing the right dining option when you hit pay?

It is not forcing me to selection of the correct dining option.

However, after reading the force select I see that it will only work if there isn't a default option. I think I have it fixed now.

Rob,

We have a handheld that we would like employees to use to clock in and out. Is that possible? We couldn't find how to do that if it is possible.

The timeclock button next to sign in

You also either set a default dining option for the restaurant or someone went into device setup and set a default dining option for that device
