Order Ready Boards

Toast’s new Order Ready Board is a convenient addition to your front-of-house setup, allowing you to show orders’ statuses on your TV or other screen. Guest order statuses shown on the display are driven by actions from the Orders Hub or the Kitchen Display System (KDS). The Order Ready Board offers guest and driver visibility, lets your staff focus on critical tasks rather than just answering questions on the status of takeout and delivery orders, and helps optimize your restaurant layout.

Kitchen Display System - Independent Prep Station Fulfillment

With independent prep station fulfillment, multiple KDS prep stations can independently fulfill the same item, replacing the previous work around and improving the KDS experience.

Toast Mobile Order & Pay - Flexible group ordering

The new Group Ordering experience on Toast Mobile Order & Pay gives guests the flexibility to order on their own or order as a group.

In the “Legacy” Group Ordering experience, guests were forced to join a group with all other table members. There are two changes in the new “Flexible” Group Ordering experience:

Guests can choose to either order on their own private tab or order as a group.
Multiple groups can simultaneously exist at the same table, which is ideal for venues with communal tables.

Toast Takeout - Guest Offers

Is your restaurant using the new Offers feature from Toast? If so, this new Toast Takeout app update will provide additional awareness of your restaurant and help drive demand. Now, when you launch an offer, a badge will display on your restaurant's listing within the Toast Takeout app to let guests know you have an offer available. Your restaurant will also be shown in an "Offers near you" carousel at the top of the app.

xtraCHEF - document upload UI enhancements

xtraCHEF puts advanced reporting, analytics, and cost-tracking capabilities right at your fingertips — and it all begins with uploading documents. Toast has made a few updates to the document upload experience with a new UI that simplifies the options to choose from, keeps you on the page you were working on, and makes it easier to identify errors before they occur.

Toast Tables - Block or Stop reservations

You can now easily stop in-house reservations, online reservations, and the online waitlist by blocking or stopping reservations in Toast's back-end.

Toast Tables - Merge parties

Toast now allows you to merge parties at the time of seating onto an ordered table without a party already attached. This was based on customer feedback where hosts would forget to seat a guest and servers would start an order.

Toast Tables - Server rotation configurations

In addition to Last sat time we now support rotation by Current covers, Total covers, Current tables (parties) served, Total tables (parties) served.

Toast Tables - Auto reassign tables

Tables can now auto-reassign conflicted tables without host intervention. This will prevent red (conflicted) bookings when possible. Your hosts can seat parties at any table and we will reassign any upcoming bookings at the target table to a new table when one is available to avoid causing conflicts.
