Toast Delivery Services - Uber Extension Default Delivery Radius

Effective January 27, 2025, Uber is extending their default delivery radius from 8 miles to 10 miles and reducing their maximum delivery fee for 10-mile delivery from $8.74 to $8.50. Terms & Conditions.

Toast Tables - Reserve with Google Deposits

Bookings with deposit rules applied are now fully supported in Reserve with Google. Toast Tables customers who formerly would have either not listed booking slots on Reserve With Google when deposits were applied or would have waived the deposit in favor of listing on Reserve With Google no longer have to choose between the two and can list their full bookings availability and collect their full intended amount of deposits. Catering & Events Pro - Catering Online Ordering Capacity Changes

We've changed how capacity limits are calculated to account for all types of C&E orders.

Going forward, the following will be counted:

Catering online orders
Catering orders
Invoices
Any of the above created before enabling/adding limits

The following will not be counted:

Draft orders
Refunded orders or items
Voided orders or items

Still waiting on more features that cater to drive thru/ front counter services. Still waiting on a larger, more friendly portable iron than the tiny Toast Tab 2. Trying to take orders outside with the small screen in a drive thru is just a waste of time. McDonald's, Whataburger, Wings & More and several other brands have large devices they can take outside to take orders and charge customers, but we don't. I've requested this for years and nothing has populated.

I agree, a larger screen would be great. When we used square, years ago during covid, our drive thru activity was through the roof. We used iPads with square readers, and they worked great. The Toast Tab 2 is not convenient, and slows us down. Toast can be operated on a portable tablet, but they will not allow it. Hopefully they have something in the works for this. We can only hope a successor device is on the way.....

It would be nice if the Employee Productivity report (among others) could be downloaded or emailed. I realize you can copy/paste into a spreadsheet but that can complicate things.
