Do the online ordering tips have to come out of a cash drawer in order to balance the drawer. Thanks for the help!

Hi @Stokeschef, this would depend on your settings. Some locations pay out these tips on payroll, some pay them out of a specific drawer, and others take cash from the "safe" in the back for this.

Have you noticed that a particular cash drawer is consistently short by the same amount as the tip received?

Hello Rob, I have it set to pay out tips at the end of the shift. However, we pool the online tips and they are payed out in payroll and my thought was that not taking those tips out at the end of the shift should make us over by that amount. Thanks

Tips are not part of the cash drawer balance, only affect the drawer if you tip out from a cash drawer, they wouldn't cause it to be over.
