a couple team members are getting an error type message when trying to clock in. It is telling them that they can't clock in without a manager.

Hey @Rob_C, thanks for reaching out! Some things to check to resolve this:

First, check to see if a job is assigned to the employee, also check the permissions of that Job
Creating and Editing Job Roles for Toast POS

Second, go to UI options and check that "Enforce scheduling" is set to off
Enforcing Scheduling/Time Clock Rules with Integration Partners
