Credit Card Reader Update

Had a credit card reader update last week and now the 'checking for credit card reader updates' screen appears (very quickly) every time when logging in. Anyone else seeing this? Is this a new expected behavior? Worried that if it is checking every time when switching users eventually there will be an update that will be forced to complete at the worst time.

No. We don't have this problem (and hopefully wont'). Have you tried to remove the card reader in the device setup and set it up fresh?

Yeah I tried that as well as a reinstall of the app. It is possible it happened with the last app update which happened around the same time too, do you know what app version you are on?

Checked another restaurant on the same app version and same thing is happening there, unfortunately on the same card reader firmware too so can't narrow it down to the app or the card reader.
