86'd Items Alert

I don't believe this feature exists. If it does, I'd like to hear about it. It would be so fantastic if Toast could send an alert to all terminals/handhelds, either by device or user, when an item is sold out. This way, servers can go to tables informed of items no longer available, rather than having to return to the table and disappoint guests, or run to the kitchen to check the 86 board before going to every table to make sure limited items are still available. Our antiquated legacy POS that we used for 10 years sent alerts to all stations. We have only been using Toast for 8 months, and thus far this issue is in our top 5 annoyances. Thank-you.

This would be a great option to have, if you have access to the product ideas hub I would submit there as well. You can go ahead and mark the item out of stock therefore the server would not even ring it in
