Hi,

Can anyone explain why you cannot add a tip a day or two later? You used to be able to do this which was great. Our restaurant often has larger orders placed in advance and we require payment at the time of the order, if over $50. We used to be able to get a signature from them on the day of pick up and they had the option on the receipt to leave tip and we used to be able to go back in the back end and find the check and add the tip. Now you can't and the only way to get a tip is to ask them over the phone if they would like to leave a tip in advance, which is obviously awkward and not ideal.

Hey, @WoodFiredPizza7. My team explained that we are working on a new development to allow restaurants to mark transactions that they intend to add tips to later - things like future orders, catering orders, deposits, etc. - and add a tip to them compliantly and securely. Can I give this team your email address for further updates?
