Hold and Stay buttons

Is there a way to remove the Hold and Stay buttons from dine in? I see we can remove them from quick order. But I can not find a way to remove them from dine in.

Unfortunately, I do not believe you can remove the Hold & Stay buttons from dine in.

Consider a few workarounds that you can use to minimize the use of the Hold and Stay buttons in dine in:

Use the "Courses" feature. This feature allows you to create different courses for your dishes, such as appetizers, main courses, and desserts. When you enter an order for a customer, you can assign each dish to a specific course. This will help to keep your orders organized and make it easier to track what dishes have been ordered and what dishes are still pending.
Use the "Item Tags" feature. This feature allows you to create custom tags for your dishes. You can use tags to indicate things like whether a dish is ready to be fired, whether it is being held, or whether it is staying. This can help to communicate the status of orders to your kitchen staff without having to use the Hold and Stay buttons.
Use the "Notes" section. This section allows you to add notes to orders. You can use the notes section to communicate any special instructions to your kitchen staff, such as whether a dish should be held or stayed.

Thanks for your reply. We do use coursing. The problem is sometimes the servers accidentally hit hold and think they hit send. How do I send in a proper feature request? This is problematic.

The updated hold/send feature COULD have been great. But if you modify the last item you ring in with hitting "done" the send, it only sends that one item. We have had to comp so much food because of this. The kitchen is furious with the number of excess tickets. This is now doing more harm then help
