Integral Modifier Firing

Looking to pass along a request to toast. We would like to set integral modifiers to fire at different times as the item they are attached to and remain on the same ticket on the KDS. Right now integral modifiers are connected and toasts sums up all of the times for the integral modifier and the item. The only way to fire a modifier at a separate time from the item is to set up independent modifiers. However, this breaks the checks up by putting the independent on a separate ticket on our xpo screen. We would prefer to have the integral modifier greyed out on the xpo screen until it is either fired through setting up an automatic fire time, that is a separate fire time from the item, or manually fired to the prep station from xpo.

Checking in... we are experiencing the same. Have you found any workarounds or solutions? Did you find a "channel" to pass along this feedback to Toast? We were onboarded with the understanding that this already worked as described above, and extremely surprised after implementation to discover that it does not 😕

No unfortunately not. Independent modifier firing sums up all the times and treats the item and modifier as the same. We tried to implement the independent modifier system and it does not work with our operation. Modifiers come through on separate checks further down the screen. We ended up color coding modifiers that need to be fired at separate times from the main item and we have the xpo call when the color coded items are on fire. Not ideal but we work with it.
