Did you get the picture? I find the threading on this forum quite confusing as of now.

All closed checks say $0 unless you actually click on them to open them. Before all the $ amounts where here. We will continue with classic and hopefully it can stay like that with the option to use either or - Find it much more intuitive.

New POS experience shows closed checks with $0 in check total. Before it had the total check $ and is useful for looking up checks

I had two of my most experienced bartenders try the beta software during their shift and they said there was no way to add a service charge using the handhelds for credit card transactions. I tried it later and didn't see the option either. One thing I noticed was when I tried to void a credit transaction it gave the option of returning cash. I would like to be able to shut that option off. It's an opportunity for an employee to steal. It would be nice to have the service charge added automatically when using a credit card.

New Sales Summary Report

When we first started using Toast I set up my sales categories with the accounting codes I use in Quickbooks. The sales summary always printed the categories in the order of my accounting codes. The new report doesn't. It seems to just be in random order and I don't see a way to change that. The new reports look very nice (although tiny little print) but not having the categories in order definitely slows down my data entry. I want to think it was simply an oversite and will be corrected.
