topic Use a modifier instead of size pricing? in Restaurant Operations

Any reason not to use a modifer instead of size pricing? We have a few items on our menu that use size pricing, for example 10 vs 20 wings, cup or crock of soup. Issue I ran into was that if I use size pricing on an item, I can't also use menu pricing (we raise the price for 3rd party delivery). Any reason I couldn't just leave the price open and then use a modifier group for size and price? Then I could also use menu based pricing?
