Can anyone guide me where I might find the hidden and/or archived menu?
>> Go to Menus >> Item Database >> select "Menu tab". It will list out all the menu you have created since day 1. Make sure to check "Show Archived"

Also, if I make price changes to this specific menu will it change prices on my regular menu
>> You can use "menu specific pricing"

Is it better to archive a menu (regular or holiday) than to hide it? I need it to be easy to hide one and bring back the regular menu after Thanksgiving.
>> I personally prefer to hide the menus instead of archiving them because I can still edit them if I want to.

One of the selling points for me to purchase Toast was this ability to have a separate Holiday menu and be able to change the prices on it independent of our regular everyday menu. I have really struggled to find articles on either of these topics.
>> Not sure what goal you want to achieve here. Hope this will help: https://central.toasttab.com/s/article/Building-Happy-Hour-Menus-w-Menu-Specific-Pricing-1493004445781

Hi! First off, I appreciate any help anyone can provide. I run my small family owned diner style restaurant. I am very new at using Toast as we have had it only 3 months. So far I do like the software but I find some things could be more straight forward.

When I built our extensive diner style menu into the Toast spreadsheets I created a separate Holiday Menu to be used only on Thanksgiving and Christmas. Of course most of the items are also on our regular menu but we limit the menu choices on holidays. When I had the onsite installation I do not believe it was archived but hidden instead by the technician. Now I cannot find the menu at all to make changes to it for the upcoming holiday.

Can anyone guide me where I might find the hidden and/or archived menu?

Also, if I make price changes to this specific menu will it change prices on my regular menu?

Is it better to archive a menu (regular or holiday) than to hide it? I need it to be easy to hide one and bring back the regular menu after Thanksgiving.

One of the selling points for me to purchase Toast was this ability to have a separate Holiday menu and be able to change the prices on it independent of our regular everyday menu. I have really struggled to find articles on either of these topics.

Thank you for any help anyone can provide. I truly appreciate it!

Denise
