Hi,

We are using a local delivery company for our delivery orders, thus Toast is set for the 1st party delivery option - just like using our own drivers. There are a few issues with the 1st party delivery options I have.

The main issue is with the due time. Due time is obviously when the customers need their food - pick up or delivered. In the kitchen, however, the prep time is same for take out or delivery. And, the KDS is showing the due time the same way for the delivery or take out.

Here is the example: We set 15 min for the delivery time and 30 min for the prep time.

For Take out orders scheduled at 6 PM, the ticket will be fired at 5:30 PM and kitchen will prepare the food for 6 PM pick up.
For Delivery orders scheduled at same 6 PM, the ticket will be fired at 5:15 PM - The food is scheduled for 5:45 PM ready for the driver but KDS is still showing the due time is at 6 PM (and yes the ticket is labeled for the delivery but that does not solve the problem). Many times it confuses the staff and gave the false sense of time. KDS is for kitchen staff and food ready time is more critical for them than food delivery time.

I wish there is an option to distinguish due times for the customer and kitchen staff.
