I have attached some articles that go into this, but the short version is below!<BR /><BR />-In most cases, printing receipts, opening cash drawers, and entering <STRONG>tips</STRONG> are all unaffected by Offline Mode as long as ethernet cables have not been unplugged.<BR /><BR />- If your system went offline after a pay period ended and all time entries and <STRONG>tips</STRONG> from the pay period have synced, you may decide to process payroll for that pay period. &nbsp;(only If you are using Toast Payroll)<BR /><BR />-You may still take credit and debit card payments and enter <STRONG>tips</STRONG> if background credit card processing was enabled previously. However, you can only swipe a card. EMV (chip) and tap payment methods will not work.
