I have attached some articles that go into this, but the short version is below!&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;-In most cases, printing receipts, opening cash drawers, and entering &lt;STRONG&gt;tips&lt;/STRONG&gt; are all unaffected by Offline Mode as long as ethernet cables have not been unplugged.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;- If your system went offline after a pay period ended and all time entries and &lt;STRONG&gt;tips&lt;/STRONG&gt; from the pay period have synced, you may decide to process payroll for that pay period. &amp;nbsp;(only If you are using Toast Payroll)&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;-You may still take credit and debit card payments and enter &lt;STRONG&gt;tips&lt;/STRONG&gt; if background credit card processing was enabled previously. However, you can only swipe a card. EMV (chip) and tap payment methods will not work.
