NEW POS EXPERIENCE - "Share" Header

Hey everyone!

We are continuing to utilize the new POS experience at our R&D location. I've received the same feedback from servers repeatedly, and that is to remove the "Share" header on the ordering screen. We utilize seat positions; however, we are a breakfast/lunch restaurant and do not offer appetizers, and it's not often guests share a plate. Is there any way to make the "share" header optional? I know in the old POS experience; we had the option to remove the "share" button. Although servers can skip "share" to move on to Seat 1, we are a rather fast busy restaurant, and at times servers forget to skip "share".

Any insight would be appreciated! 🙂

I am also having a hard time adjusting to this and am constantly putting things in to share because I forget to tap seat one or seat 2. It would be great if share wasn't the first option but I don't know if I want seat 1 to be automatically selected either. Perhaps it would be best if you needed to make a selection first in order to put in an item, whether it be shared, seat 1, 2, etc.?

I like your idea as well! Anything to not make the “share” header not be the first line in the ordering screen.
