Servers find it impossible to overlook ticket before sending it to kitchen.

You can't get a clear version of your ticket anymore.

All the seat number headings get in the way of

course one

course two

we have been doing alot of large parties for the holidays and have been finding the update extremely difficult and time consuming.

Turn off order by seat if it is causing problems for staff, it will just work like before with seat number as a modifier. https://central.toasttab.com/s/article/Order-by-Seat#disable

Why didn't they make it a toggle for the server instead of the all-in, one way or the other? Start at the restaurant or device-level default when you open/reopen a check. Hit it once and go from seat view to course view. Hit it again, and go to order of entry. Once more, you're at defined sort order. Then you're back to seat view.

They need fresh idea people...

Yes! I'd like a switch- toggle whatever that would just show you how its going to print up.
