Tab Names

We can currently open a tab with the following identifiers:

-Table number

-Server Name

-Check Number

This is a bar within our business that two bartenders handle. The customers move around and each server handles a number of customers. They have to preview a number of tabs to find the right one. Is there a way to pre-authorize a credit card and have the customer's name appear on the tab? Because of our business circumstances, this would be very helpful

Yes, preauthorization will grab the name from the card used for the tab name, more on preauthorization here:
