Text Box for Customer Info!

We need a blank text box to record customer preferences. It seems like a super easy addition for the developers. How do we go about getting this done? Any workarounds? I've submitted this suggestion numerous times as well. Thank you in advance.

Do you mean the special requests on items for orders? You can always put a note in for the kitchen using "open item" and not putting a charge on it if its something weird

No, we have regulars where they like particular things, or customers that have certain allergies and particulars in general. Information that can really help us take care of our customers without having to look elsewhere.

For dine in or takeout? I have regulars who repeat their orders from past visits, so I use their phone number to repeat an order. Just an idea. I do agree it would be great to put "tags" or allergy alerts on a customer profile

Yeah, we use the repeat function..which is something that isn't always reliable. Just a little text box is all we ask for!

I feel like it will be coming at some point judging by the fact that this was added to the guestbook, doesn't really make sense for it to only be accessible in the back end. There are also plans to make guest notes from reservations be visible on the POS as well.
