Promo Codes only for certain hours. Can it be done?

I am trying to run a promo code discount for today from 9 am to 3:30 pm. I have set the hours in the offer. The problem is it allows people to order now for after 3:30 and still applies the discount.

Is there a way to do this that the customers don 't have a work around?

I think the only way to prevent this is to disable scheduling orders at the moment. The "Hours Available" has no effect on future orders. Customers can place an order for future time and apply the discount when it is "available". It needs to be implemented in my opinion.

Very much so. It seems pretty basic to me. Like right now I'm offering a breakfast pizza for Easter Sunday. But I want people to pre order them so I have to put it on the menu now and list in the item as only available for Easter-Do not order for any other day.
