Handhelds Constantly Chiming

Does anyone know how to turn off the chiming sound on the handhelds? It keeps going off even when nothing has happened and it's the same sound as the kitchen screen when a new order has come in and the kitchen staff is getting frustrated as that sound is the identifier that a new order has come in.

Yes, go to Device Setup > New Ticket Sound

We have that set to “none” and the handheld is still chiming.

A tiny triangle with an exclamation point appears along the top but cannot open it or tap it at all

Thanks, so this is non toast device, that is just an android system notification and not related to the toast app. I can't tell you the source of it but you would need to go into the device settings (Android settings not toast device setup) and disable your notifications sounds under sound settings. As far as the source you can try long pressing the notification in the notification shade and it may give you a clue about what app is the source.

We have zero way of accessing that, this is where we are at a loss. There’s no settings available to get rid of the sound.
