Is there a way for the bar tickets to say "patio" so the bartender knows to put the drinks in plastic cups?

You could create a dining option called a patio; that might help.

Your patio tables should have different table numbers so that the bartender will automatically know without having to mod anything. It's been working well for us. Inside is 1 - 24, outside is 30 - 63. Hope this helps!

Yea, we use table numbers as well, main dining room are 100's (101,102, etc) , side dining room is 300's, bar is 500's and outside are 700 numbers. Makes it much easier to know where food and drinks are routed.

We use normal numbers for inside and P1, P2, etc for outside
