You can download the items database in excel format, it will include everything, modifiers and menu items and archived items, will not have menu groups, menu or description though. With a little filtering you can get it down to just menu items that are not archived.

Has anyone come upon, or know how to export an entire menu? Something that includes the Menu, Menu Group, Item Name, Description, and Pricing. I have yet to find anything that remotely resembles this, and it would be very helpful. None of the Menu Reports will work, and I can confirm I have tried them all. TIA

Unfortunately, exporting the menu from Toast is not possible, but if anyone has found a way to get close, please post in the thread!

You can either have data exports enabled or you can have API access enabled and download JSON file. You can also download product mix and include items with 0 sales to an excel spreadsheet

Data exports will give you a daily JSON export of your menu. It's quite extensive, so would require some work to get into a usable format, but that's likely the simplest way. I have never had any luck getting API access approved, but data exports I think is generally available.

Note that even if you have the export, you can't import it back again.

Will also add that I have come custom tooling I've written that exports some data (I wanted just a list of top-level menu items with base prices and that's it, for example). This isn't productized, but I could run it on your store without much issue. Not sure what you're looking for exactly in your export. Feel free to message me on here or leave me an e-mail to reach you and I'd be happy to talk more about if my solution can work for you.

I have yet to find a good tool to really convert the json export into a "human readable" format, especially if we're looking to drill down into nested modifiers/groups, etc. Does anyone have a good recommendation for a json viewer? Excel doesn't seem to handle the duplicate lines well, and will only 'see' the first 1000 rows when configuring the drill-down...
