How to set up Auto discounts using the quantity item button

Hello new to toast, the auto discounts would only work for 1 item when the staff uses the quantity button to send more than 1 item, any ideas

In UI Options, do you have “Consolidate Discounts” turned on?

Is it a fixed $ off or % off discount? It would have to be a fixed $ or %, you would need to enable "applies to entire check", as well as must include the margarita item, and bulk discount checked and set a minimum and maximum qty, or leave max blank if no max.

If you have set your discount up to apply to Specific item/group, it's not working as it should be. Quantity has no effect on the discount at the moment. I'm not sure if it is intentional or it is a bug.

But try the workaround by re-configuring your discount setting according to the followings:

Applies to>>>Entire check
Check>>Check must include of the following items/groups
Choose the item(s) you want discount to be applied to

Under Advanced Settings
Permissions Level >> Any User
Check >> Auto apply discount
Min Quantity >> 1
Check >> Bulk Discount
Max Quantity >> the max # allowed
