XtraChef Prep Recipe Waste

I'm trying to start logging our waste in the inventory section of XtraChef however, I am not able to find any of my prep recipes. I see in the search filters, I can search for prep recipes, products, invoice items, or all yet only the products show. Nothing else. is something set wrong? how can I find them?
