Credit Card Surcharge Fee

I was trying to add the credit card surcharge fee to all of our restaurants, but if I do Toast is raising our credit card fees. Is there a work around to add this fee without using Toast credit card surcharge product?

The only other way would be to use service charges, which is not recommended. However, that is what locations did before we released the surcharge product.
