Printed Ticket Payment Status

Hi

I've enabled the function to see the Payment Status on tickets, but they always display as payment required as the order is sent to the kitchen immediately as soon as the button to capture payment is selected. There is the option to only send orders to kitchen once payment is captured (overridden by using the send button in takeout only), but this doesn't work for operations with dine-in.

My goal is to have printed tickets correctly show the payment status.

The only way to see payment status on a printed kitchen ticket is with the expeditor ticket. Under kitchen , kitchen ticket and kitchen setup, expeditor, choose always print and select the printer to print to, further down under ticket footer turn payment status on for expeditor.

Yes, that is what I have selected. It's showing all tickets as "payment required" on the bottom of each printed ticket. The order sends to the kitchen immediately once one presses the "pay" button, which will display "payment required" despite still going through the process to capture payment.

Ok, must have misunderstood, but now I'm a little confused at what you are trying to achieve? You want to wait for payment before sending takeout orders, but not dine in orders?
