Footer for Takeout/Delivery Receipts

Hi everyone,

We’re currently looking for a solution to add a specific footer to the merchant copy that prints at our Epson TM-L90 printer (carryout printer) for takeout and delivery orders. While we can add a footer to item labels that print at our carryout printer, we want the footer shown below to also appear on the merchant copy, or any other receipt that shows the full order.

Here is the current footer setup:

We’d like the footer shown in the images above to appear on the merchant copy instead. However, due to our current guest receipt setup, the footer above doesn't work, especially when printing dine-in tickets. Ideally, we’d prefer to avoid updating the footer through the guest receipt setup if possible.

What I am asking may not be possible, but thought I'd check if anyone has any ideas to make it work.

I assume that first picture is the footer option under the individual printer settings? You could add that same footer to any printer but it's going to only print when a kitchen ticket prints there, not guest receipts, only option is the guest receipt footer or promo area, for the merchant credit card copy it is not possible at all.

That is correct, the footer was for the individual printer and we have it set as an item label printer since place the items labels on the boxes. I was certain that it wouldn't work but worth asking, the issue with using the kitchen ticket as that we only want this footer for carryout orders and so if we add the footer to the kitchen ticket, it will also appear for dine in orders.

It may just have to become a feature request.

Oh okay, yeah you would have to dedicate a printer to just carryout, might not be feasible.

Yes, and we may actually be moving away from having a kitchen printer anyway and only using KDS's and the Epson L90.

I can't provide any useful suggestion in this case. But I have to say adding a form in the footer to be filled out by servers is pretty neat and smart! I learn something new today.

No worries! For a while we were using custom made labels that we filled out and sealed the carryout bags with, but they are pricey and so we're looking for a cost-effective option.
