Hello,

If I want to add an additional label printer to print the exact information as the first label printer, am I able to link off the first printer using a splitter or do I need to run an additional home run from my office 50’ away?

thank you.

Yeah you could just add a small 4 port switch and plug both printers into that. Generally it is always better to add a run all the way back but it's not always feasible, technically you are adding a single point of failure that could cause you to lose both printers if it failed. You would still need to add the new printer under the prep station for the label printer to get a duplicate.
