Thanks for reaching out to Community!

When a customer pre-orders for a specific time, like 5:15 PM, the system will still apply the throttling rules unless you configure it otherwise. You can choose to immediately fire throttled ASAP orders regardless of delays by adjusting the settings in Toast Web. If you set the system to "Yes" for immediately firing throttled ASAP orders, the delays will be added to the order’s prep time and then fired. Otherwise, the default setting is "No," meaning orders are fired based on the throttling delay.
Let me know if this helps!

Online Ordering: Advanced Settings

Hi all, we are opening this week and with the pre ordering option set will the orders all come through when the customer wants the order or will the system still then add the throttling rules? For example if a customer chooses delivery for 5.15 will that delivery be confirmed to them or is it still able to be asap when we can deliver?
Thanks in advance
