Yeah I understand that. This issue is that it is not showing up to be added at all. Even though it is connected to ethernet on the same network.

Hello,

Our cafe has 1 flex 14 with an additional screen to monitor orders. We have 1 cash drawer, 1 receipt printer for guests and 1 label printer for orders. We just got another wired tp200 label printer to have in the kitchen. This printer is hooked up to the same internet via Ethernet. Does it need to connect via usb c to the main terminal? If so I don’t see any additional ports available. Can I use a usbc splitter?

You can only have one receipt printer assigned per terminal. As far as the printer connection they are done over local network, no USB connection needed for standalone printers. What are you trying to achieve with the new printer?

One label printer for drink orders, one for the kitchen for food orders, and then a “normal” receipt printer for guest receipts

If you haven't already, add a new prep station that will be used with the new printer, then add the new printer using the printer setup in the pos, and select that prep station when prompted. Then route the appropriate menus and items to that prep station. https://central.toasttab.com/s/article/Prep-Stations-Basics https://central.toasttab.com/s/article/Accessing-the-Printer-Setup

Sorry, I misunderstood your original post. Can you confirm the make and model of the printer (you mentioned a label printer but also a tp200 which is a receipt printer) Also did you buy through toast shop or somewhere else?

All 3 printers are tp200's. Out of the 2 active ones, 1 is used just for guest receipts and the other is for order labels. The 3rd is what we would like to have in the kitchen for food orders.

All bought through the toast shop.

Can you print a test from the new printer, turn the printer off, press and hold power and feed button at same time until a slip prints. Can you share a picture of the communication interface section of that printout.
