Feature Requests

I've been using TOAST for 5 years and have submitted 30 + Feature Requests. None have been implemented.

The biggest issue is zero transparency.

We don't know how many other restaurants want the same features.

We don't know if TOAST is working on them.

As companies get big its difficult to steer and act in a fast and nimble way. Many of us feel the same. I've brought the exact topic and asked for a way to be more open and transparent. Maybe have a poll that people give thumbsup and depending on what feature is liked the most community managers can get a chance to pitch it with the dev teams.

Robert Anderson was taking note on this in my previous post.

Have you ever done some of the research surveys from toast? I get an email every month or two asking for my opinions on updates they have coming. Generally this is a new version of a report, or a new GUI. This puts you in front of a researcher from toast who takes copious notes and passes along what you have said. There have been plenty of times that I hate what they are looking to do, and I make it well known to the researcher. They tend to listen pretty well.

We are working on updating our Feature request system. In the meantime, I have been relaying feedback to our product teams.
