Hello Toast World,

I am starting a topic in regards to Toast Tables: Experiences.

I have begun using the Experience feature for events within the restaurant and have found it is disappointing that customers must book an experience by booking a dining table. There are many types of experiences, for example, bar experiences where customers would not sit at a physical table. A Superbowl party would be a good example. Toast Experiences will not allow an experience to take registrations as a "list" of customers. For example, if I want to have an event that 100 people can attend, I have to create 100 tables with 1 person occupancy to allow 100 people to register for the event. This is cumbersome and not ideal for an event that is a stand-up event that doesn't use the normal table layout of my dining room.

So, Toast Team, I would implore you to build in functionality to allow customers to book an experience without the need to place them at a table. The only control needed would be the max capacity of the event to allow said number of customers to book the event. This is crucial to making the Toast Table Experiences a usable option for different types of events, not just sit down dinner events.

Thanks for your consideration.
