    <description>&lt;P&gt;I have had numerous card reader issues with the Toast Go 2s, to the point we are considering ending all handheld subscriptions. Support has helped get them working but it only lasts for a day or two, then they just stop altogether.&amp;nbsp;I'll attempt to re-seat the card readers, per&amp;nbsp;&lt;a href="https://community.toasttab.com/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/88296"&gt;@jelmlin&lt;/a&gt;&amp;nbsp;'s suggestion.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hello&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;We have been with Toast now for 3+ years (Feb 2023).&amp;nbsp; At sign up, one of the benefits, was that they provided free of charge the handhelds we needed to run our FOH operations.&amp;nbsp; After 3 years, 1 handheld will not accept payments, 3 will randomly shut down during transactions, and the 1 that works OK barely holds a charge.&amp;nbsp; Since they were not leased, Toast will happily replace them for $600/per.&amp;nbsp; Has anyone found another solution, that seems like a lot of $$$ to spend on handhelds.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Doug&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi Doug,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Which model of Toast Go are you using? Take a look at the toast shop under the accessories section for handhelds. You can replace the card reader as well as battery on Toast Go 2.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;It's most likely the port connection of the credit card swipper on the hand held has come lose. It happened to use and I was able to fix it that way by opening up the tablet and removing the cover to the port and re-plugging it back in.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
