Pre card authorization printing receipt

When i swipe a card for payment, the screen with the tip and signature comes up but i dont want that, i want the receipt to be printed so they can sign at the table. can anyone help me out.

You need to shut off digital receipts if you don't want to use them, under device setup on the individual devices, turn digital receipts off. https://central.toasttab.com/s/article/Basic-Digital-Receipt-Configuration#enabling_digital_receipts_on_POS

okay but then i want to be able to print the merchandise and customer receipts for them to sign and tip at table.

example, when you go out to eat to a restaurant, they give you the check, you hand the card to the server and they slide the card, the receipt automatically prints out and they give you it to sign.

that is the problem with my pos, it doesnt do that. how can i set it up? i called customer care but the guy seemed not able to help.

I understand what you are trying to do, follow the link and turn off digital receipts on the devices you don't want to use it.
