I feel like we know our target demographic well, but honestly mostly through intuition and not with data. Curious what data and reports inside Toast can clue us into our demographic's preferences?

Are there data sources that correlate demographic info to sales data, from perhaps the cc processing network that Toast can make available to merchants? I know some credit card processors offer this, but I am sure there are some privacy considerations as well. Generally, just like @shone mentioned, we know our demographic, but getting data would be nice.

Years ago, we used to get reports from American Express and other credit card processors that showed our guest demographics. I’ve specifically looked through the Toast reports and can’t find anything like it. Am I looking in the wrong place? It should be simple to provide. Obviously, the blog post above discusses the value of knowing this information, so it should a priority to provide the information.

Thanks for reaching out! After consulting with my team, I found that we conduct a large annual survey to gather this data. Unfortunately, we don't currently offer any other reports on this information.
