Adjusting tip amount next day

Hey All!

There used to be a way to adjust the tip amount next day. When you go to "find checks & issue refund" there was a blue dropdown that said "adjust tip amount". This option does not show up anymore. We frequently have customer call in and order and pay for it the day before or sometimes weeks before. Then when they pick up the order and sign the receipt they put a tip onto the receipt and we would use this "adjust tip amount" action. Has anyone else experienced this option disappearing and what are you doing instead?

Hey @Penguin_Meg1, Thanks for reaching out about this! We removed that option to stay PCI compliant and maintain a secure processing experience. We are working on a new development allowing restaurants to mark transactions that they intend to add tips to later - things like future orders, catering orders, deposits, etc. - and add a tip to them compliantly and securely! same here. they won't let us do it-compliance issue. hopefully they will change that for advanced orders.
