Assuming there won't be wifi you can use at this place. If you have cell reception. You could get one of those cellular mifi devices from your mobile provider and connect the handheld to it. Or turn on the hotspot on your phone and connect your handheld to the hotspot wifi if your cellular plan includes hotspot.

All Toast handhelds are going to require a Toast network to accept payments. This means the Meraki router. You can take a ToastGo and run it offline, but then you run the risk of invalid cards. If your transaction amount is low enough, and the volume will be high, you can roll the dice and go this route. But understand that Toast will not reimburse or otherwise cover any failed/declined transactions.

Not sure what your timeline is but there is a feature called text to pay you could ask for access to that is meant for this situation were you don't have access to your toast managed network, it does still require an internet connection but it could just be any WIFI connection. Allows you to text a link to the customer to pay on their phone. https://central.toasttab.com/s/article/Using-Pay-at-a-Distance Other than that as others have mentioned you would need your toast router (assuming you are not self managed) and some internet connection to it like a cellular modem/router.

Customers can leave a tip, but it won't be processed until the device returns online.
