Gift Card Printing

In the last couple of days, we have had customers come in and buy Gift Cards and wanted to include a "receipt" that shows the dollar amount on the card. In previous systems, we could do a check balance it would print out the last 4 digits of the card and the remaining balance. I can't seem to find to find this feature in Toast - is it possible?

You can't print a receipt with gift card balance without a purchase, meaning:
- When using the check balance function, system will only show the balance on screen. You can't print a receipt.

You can print a receipt for gift cards when:
1) there is a gift card purchase
2) an order is paid with gift card.

If you also use Toast Rewards, I would suggest that you re-direct customers to the Toast Rewards Lookup Webpage. Customers will be able to see both their rewards and gift card balance there.
