kds modifier appearence

I have researched and chosen whatever options I can to ensure modifiers appear under the item to be modified, yet the kds still show, for example, a Sprite with no onion. How can I rectify this? We have too much food waste due to this one thing.....

Okay, you would need to set the modifiers up a little differently, you said fries are included, are there any other side options? I would create a sides mod group even if fries is the only option, just set the price to $0 if it's included, then nest the fry topping under the fries side. And you will get on screen something like this where the fries mods are indented under the fries.

I'm still having alot of difficulty with this. I went to the link you suggested, there was something about using a legacy version to edit the menu? IDK what that means.....

Just means the old way of menu editing, not the new menu builder. Could you share a screenshot of the advanced properties for the part of your menu with the combos, with all modifier groups expanded?

Thankyou for your help, btw. I got the fry mods working, but I don't actually know how I did it. The issue now is the same tho. The combos are two hotdogs, that need modifiers to be under them and even tho I DID get that happening for the fry, like I said, I don't know how it happened

You are welcome, looks like fry side might have mods nested under it, it's not expanded so I can't tell, if there are that is how you fixed that, which is great. Is it possible you could sketch out an example of how you would like the ticket to read, would help me to better understand your goal. It sound like just the order the mods appear but I am not sure.

Ok and you got the fry mods to look like that already? If you want the hot dog mods to nest like the fries you would have to go the same route but I think just adjusting the order priority should be sufficient. Under advanced properties, check modifier order priority under show/hide. Go to the modifier groups and in the boxes add numbers, lowest number will appear first, like HD mods should be 1 so that it is directly under the hot dog, side could be 2 and drinks 3.

Yes, you can do it there as well, just enter a number, in the order you want them to appear.
