<title>topic Employee schedule override, on call employees in Back Office &amp; Team</title>
    <link>https://community.toasttab.com/t5/back-office-team/employee-schedule-override-on-call-employees/m-p/12092#M2142</link>
<description>&lt;P&gt;We are using Toast + Sling for our scheduling.&amp;nbsp; We currently have it setup so that emplyees need manager approval to swap schedules or work a shift they are not scheduled for.&amp;nbsp; However, we have a handful of employees who must work "on call" (come in at unpredictable hours to complete restaurant cleaning, etc) .&amp;nbsp; Is there away to override the above mentioned requirements for those specific employees? Is there an "on call" option?&amp;nbsp; The only thing we can think of is to give them a 24 hr schedule, but that would greatly affect labor cost monitoring.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
