online receipt printing with expo/kds ticket

Hello team!

We just opened a new location, and for some reason, the printer connected to our expo/KDS is printing not only the regular food running chit, but also an extra "online order" receipt for all online orders. I cannot for the life of me find that setting to turn it off; please help! It's driving my kitchen manager crazy!

Hi Rob

I was finally able to get a pic of both copies to show you what's happening. We want the expo copy (shown still on the printer) but not the take out ticket. We have the customer copy of the online takeout tickets print at the host stand instead.

Hi Patience!

Which printer do you have selected as the Takeout/Delivery printer? We don't have the customer receipts set to print, so for us we unchecked merchant and customer copy, and for the printer, we have it set to Print on demand only. We have the expo printer print all checks when completed. A host printer is designated to print the takeout/delivery slips (only customer copy).

Just to confirm: You only want the "expo ticket" that is still sitting on the printer in the picture. And you don't want the "prep station" ticket printed which is held by the hand in the picture?

Oh wait... my bad. I want the prep station ticket being held by the hand. The small one on the printer looks like a receipt with the order total $$.

~~It's wild guess. It could be that you have multiple auto-fire devices. Check the device setting on the KDS and make sure the auto-fire option is off.~~

Just tested and it's not the auto-fire.

Make sure you don't have auto print on fulfill turned on for takeout receipt on the expo kds
