Is there a way to run a sales summary report for specific days of the week? We like to compare Mondays to Monday, Tuesdays to Tuesdays, etc. The only thing I've found is to download the sales summary daily, then build my own database, This seems crazy, Am I missing something? When I run reports over multiple days, everything is combined. For example, if I run a report for last month, all the Mondays are added together, Tuesdays together, etc. Same with the hourly breakdown. Thanks for any help.

Use the full sales report for this, not summary, you can compare dates, choose the week vs same week last year or previous week, or by month or year.

Do you know if there is a way to see this data for future weeks? I am looking to project sales for upcoming weeks and would love to see the prior year's weekly sales by day, to project scheduling. This seems pretty basic, i feel like I have searched but can't seem to find it without going day by day.

If you go to weekly overview under reports ,and set it to this week and compare to same week last year you can see sales figures for the upcoming week from last year or two years ago.

Though if I want to see sales for next week, starting tomorrow, I have to wait until tomorrow. As of today it only shows data Monday - Sunday of this week, and this week prior period.

So it sort of works Monday - but at that point I already have my schedule done. OI hope I am missing something - seems like a simple report we should be able to see.

Yeah a little too late for scheduling purposes, you don't happen to use sling for scheduling do you? You can import projected sales into it if you did, other than that I can't think of a way to get it.
