Recruitment Module

The recruitment module appears to have been forgotten by Toast. It is long in the tooth. A rewrite was mentioned to me years ago, but nothing has changed. Is anyone using the recruitment module? This question has been asked before, but no one answered the question, so it appears very few, if any, Toast customers are using it at all. I tried to set it up in the past but it was very tedious and hard to configure to our needs. Is there going to be a rewrite of the software anytime soon? Thanks. Loyd

Yes, I am talking about the recruitment module, otherwise known as an applicant tracking system. It would be a game change if it worked like some good modern software does. It is a programming dinosaur in my opinion and lags far behind its coopetitors in that space. It is something EVERY restaurant does, and I think it is telling that I have not found anyone that uses it. Thanks for asking.

Hello,

I've been asking Toast directly. It's been difficult getting the system up and operational. It appears to be very standard and doesn't allow for much customization. Are there other users who have used recruitment and been successful?

I do not think that the recruitment module is a priority for Toast. It came along for the ride when they bought the payroll solution. I see no indication it will improve in the near term.

Agreed. I built out a couple of jobs in the system and something told me to stop and apply as a candidate and the number of issues that we have encountered have been ridiculous. I've been in contact with Toast support and received some feedback that I haven't read yet but will be doing so this weekend or later today. I'm super frustrated with this as an ATS. I'll come back to see what is given to me. Please forgive my tardy response I've been working to find other solutions to our issue.
