EEO Classification required?

For payroll admins... isn't the EEO Classification a required field in every state for end of year reporting? Why then is it not part of onboarding? Same with the SOC Code.

Thanks for reaching out. EEO classification is not universally required by every U.S. state for end-of-year reporting, but we offer guidance about it in the article below! I believe there is a toggle in Toast Payroll to “Require EEO-1 Classification” in Settings → New Hire → Settings, so every new hire must have it filled out. Let me know if you have more questions!

Thanks Rob, I have since learned that EEO is a federal requirement but only for private employers with 100+ employees, which we (and probably most Toast users) would not fall under.
However, SOC codes are required in our state (Washington). I cannot find anywhere in the settings to toggle this on. Any suggestions?
