Promo Code - Reporting

Hi, I recently ran a promo for a school fundraiser - Dine and Donate - use code: DINEOUT at checkout. This was great as we donate a percentage of sales back to the school. Win/Win. But, I was unable to query or run a report for the promo code specific so I could find out the amount of pre-tax/pre-tip sales were keyed in. Any idea on a report that would work for this situation?

Any discount or promo should show up under discounts in the sales summary.

Hi Thanks @rcmck , but you can't download a report for it, you have to manually add up the subtotal of all the orders 😕

I'm still looking to get a subtotal "total" for orders, can't quite get that with the report structure given.

HI @karens We do Dine & Donate all the time as well. I have created a Check Discount of $0 do be applied on each order.

Then I pull up the discount report and see the net sales tied to that discount. Hope this helps

Toast Reporting is HORRID! A real deal breaker for me. I am trying to hang in there. So much data and not able to get it out - I'm not a Excel programmer or a database report writer. Lack of .pdf reports!!

Hi, awesome, if you know a new report, I'd love to hear about it. I'm trying to get my subtotal of a promo code. You can't download that check info and sort for a promo code entered. We do Dine & Donate for local schools. We ask them to use Promo Code: School, then whatever the subtotal (cuz we don't include tax, tip, liquor) of orders entered with that promo code is, we donate a percentage back to the school. I have to manually go in and look at each check and pull the subtotal.
