topic RANT about cost of payroll and question if there is a work around. in Back Office & Team

I have had 7 bars on Taost going back to 2016. I just opened a new concept and am doing a lot of the work (processing payroll, adding menus...) myself. With the others, we have people who work for us doing it. So I am learning a lot.
I have multiple frustrations with the product. The one that has me right now; There is not a payroll report that will give true 'cost of labor as a percentage of sales'. It will get close, but it excludes salaries. Seems like it would be a SIMPLE box to check if you are like me and want to know the true labor cost, and that would include salaries.
My definition of labor cost: Net sales divided by payroll expense. (Payroll expense does not include tips of course but does include all pay). Am I alon out here???

Signe
