We're looking into getting a self-order kiosk for lunch service. Is it possible to switch the kiosk to a POS in the evening for dinner service?

@PhilCastello , yes! From my experience, they have the same function as your terminal and can be manually switched from Kiosk Mode to Quick Order, Full Service, etc. Just think of them as a larger POS, depending on the size you decide on. Hope this helps!

This is correct but you have to have kiosk subscription. I’m not sure if you can purchase only subscription itself without the hardware though.

Hey @au79teahouse it is not required to purchase hardware to get access to kiosk mode. However, you will need Toast hardware (ELO device or new Flex 22") to run the Kiosk mode!

Does anyone know the cost of monthly Kiosk subscription these days? (Jan 2024)?

Can anyone confirm--- Can you upcycle any old 22"+ device to operate "Kiosk" mode on (assuming it enabled for payments with a swiper of some type)? And in order to have access to Kiosk mode, you need the monthly Kiosk subscription? Is that subscription required per device?
